So what’s a Ceilidh?

Ceilidhs are a very popular way of adding something a bit different to an evening and are a great way of getting people to mingle. An experienced ‘dance caller’ tells people what to do and generally we start out with easy dances and maybe progress to things a little trickier if it looks like they are getting the hang of things. You do not need any prior experience of dancing. (although knowing your left from your right is useful!) Our caller will guide you through. Even if you do have two left feet it usually only adds to the fun!
